Same seat for all nine

Five things, in the order you get them.

The short answer: every Med Spa 9 seat includes (1) a mutual NDA that protects everyone’s data, (2) a virtual introduction to your group, led by your facilitator, (3) access to your group’s NEON Shared IQ account, (4) a private group Slack, open 24/7/365, and (5) the reception and meals at every meeting: a welcome reception on arrival day, breakfast on both meeting days and lunch on the full meeting day.

  1. Before anything is shared

    A rock-solid NDA

Med Spa 9 and every member sign a mutual NDA before a single number changes hands. It protects your data, and everyone else’s, for as long as you’re at the table.

    • Covers the meetings, Shared IQ and the group Slack
    • No recording, no screenshots, no forwarding
    • Team members you give Shared IQ access to are covered by your NDA
    • No two members of a group serve the same patient market
  2. Before your first meeting

A virtual introduction to your group

Your facilitator brings the group together on a video call, so you know the faces, the businesses and what everyone’s good at before you ever sit down at the table.

    • Led by your group’s facilitator, who stays with the group year-round
    • Meet the other owners and hear what each one is working on
    • Walk through the ground rules: the NDA and the no-pitch pledge
  3. From your first day

    Your NEON Shared IQ account

Shared IQ holds the group’s numbers, defined the same way for everyone. Every member connects it to their own Claude or ChatGPT account and asks questions in plain English.

    • Connect Shared IQ to your team’s Claude or ChatGPT account
    • Upload KPI documents, or send our template if your EMR has no open API
    • Connect your marketing tools, so the group can see which channels are working
    • Other members see your data anonymously unless the group agrees otherwise in writing

    How Shared IQ works

  4. Every day, all year

    A private group Slack, 24/7/365

The table doesn’t close between meetings. Your group gets its own Slack for the questions that can’t wait a quarter.

    • Talk to the whole group at once
    • Message any member, or your facilitator, privately
    • Join channels by subject: hiring, marketing, location two, whatever your group needs
    • Pricing, packages, margins: talk about all of it, under the same NDA as the table
  5. At every meeting

The reception and meals, on us

Every quarterly meeting runs an evening, a full day and a morning. The food is part of your membership, so the only thing you bring is your numbers.

    • A welcome reception the evening you arrive
    • Breakfast on both meeting days
    • Lunch on the full meeting day
    • Travel, hotel and all other dining are yours. We work to secure discounted hotel rates for members.
    • For each meeting, we try to line up a sponsor for the group and encourage them to host a dinner on the full day
    • See Group 1’s first meeting agenda

The key to every M9.

  • Full transparency.
  • Total trust.
  • Open communication, year-round.

Five things in the seat, one idea behind them. Members say what’s working out loud, and what isn’t, with real numbers to back it up. The NDA is what makes that safe. The facilitator, Shared IQ and the group Slack are what keep it going between meetings, with the other members and with your facilitator, all year.

Nobody holds back.

Also in every seat.

The five above sit on top of what the table already runs on.

3 in-person meetings a year

Three quarterly, in-person meetings per year, each an evening, a full day and a morning. Opens with the number drop.

The Core 9

Nine benchmarks every member reports, defined the same way. See the Core 9.

A monthly snapshot

Where the group stands, plus one question worth digging into.

Nothing is off the table: members openly discuss pricing and pricing strategy, memberships and packages, margins and profitability, at meetings, in Shared IQ and in Slack. The only thing that never comes in is anything that identifies a patient.

What’s included in a Med Spa 9 membership?

Every seat includes five things: a mutual NDA that protects everyone’s data, a virtual introduction to the group led by your facilitator, access to the group’s NEON Shared IQ account, a private group Slack open 24/7/365, and the reception and meals at every meeting: a welcome reception on arrival day, breakfast on both meeting days and lunch on the full meeting day. Three quarterly, in-person meetings per year, the monthly group snapshot and the Core 9 benchmarks come with the seat too.

What does the NDA cover?

Med Spa 9 and every member sign a mutual NDA before a single number is shared. It covers what members share at meetings, in Shared IQ and in the group Slack. No recording, no screenshots, no forwarding. Team members you give Shared IQ access to are covered by your NDA.

Do I need Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes, one or the other. Shared IQ connects to your team’s Claude or ChatGPT account, whichever you already use. Use a business or team plan that doesn’t train on your content.

What can I put into Shared IQ?

Your Core 9 numbers through your EMR’s open API or our upload template, KPI documents you want the group to compare, and your marketing tools, so the group can see which channels are working, plus your pricing, packages and membership designs. The only thing that never goes in is anything that identifies a patient.

Do members talk about pricing?

Yes. Pricing and pricing strategy, memberships and packages, margins and profitability are at the center of every meeting and conversation. Every member shares them, under the NDA.

Who is in the group Slack?

The members of your group and your facilitator. You can talk to the whole group, message one member privately, or join channels by subject. It’s open 24/7/365 and covered by the same NDA as the table.

Are travel, hotel and dining included?

No. Members are responsible for all travel, hotel and dining expenses. The exceptions are the welcome reception on arrival day, breakfast on both meeting days and lunch on the full meeting day, which come with your seat. Med Spa 9 works to secure discounted hotel rates for members. For each meeting, we also try to line up a sponsor for the group and encourage them to host a dinner on the full day.

Is there anything extra to buy?

No. There’s no course and no upsell. The founding rate is $575 a month on a 12-month commitment, or $6,900 paid upfront for the year, which adds a private hour with founders Chris Castello and Hillary Mitchell. See pricing.
